Are you interested in going to the next level in our church? Are you interested in taking on more leadership? The Leadership Institute is about learning more about being a disciple, the foundations of a Christian life, and what it means to do ministry through relationships. The goal of this training environment is to establish a new leader in the theological concepts of leadership as well as equip them in the practical disciplines that would be needed in order to lead within Redemption and the church at-large.
You’ll be placed with a mentor and three to five other like-minded people for two semesters (24 weeks). Each week, the material and content covered has been designed to balance theory and practice. You’ll walk away with a clear understanding of your giftedness and how you can best serve the church.
Semester 1: September 24 to December 17 (break on Nov. 26)
Semester 2: January 7 to March 25
Note: Registration is capped at 20 females and 20 males at each campus.
Jasper Campus: 7:45 a.m.
Loogootee Campus: 8 a.m.
On Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017, Redemption announced its support of a church plant in Boston, Mass., called Renaissance Christian Church. Renaissance, to be launched in late 2018, will be planted by Redemption Executive Minister of Development Drew Thurman. Drew, along with his wife, Bre, his daughter Annie, and Redemption partners Jace and Catie Rasche, are being sent from Redemption as a part of the church plant in 2018.
In the above video, hear Drew’s thoughts about the plant and his hopes for God’s Kingdom to expand in Boston and the New England region.
Find out more about the church plant at renaissanceboston.org.
Redemption will be financially supporting Renaissance via the upcoming “Uncharted” initiative (find out more about Uncharted during the series from Sept. 17 to Oct. 15).
