For the average Christian, few things are more daunting than learning to read the Bible. How should we read a story of the Old Testament differently than we read a letter from Paul? How can we engage these various parts of Scripture in a way that is truly life-changing? What translation should I use? How do I read the Bible as part of my devotional time?
This eight-week class will give you the tools to become a more literate reader of the Bible, with confidence to help you treasure and apply what you are taking in.
This class will be in Room 203 at 10:30 a.m. each Sunday, beginning Jan. 14.
On Sunday evening, Dec. 31, Redemption Jasper Campus will be host to a New Year’s Eve party sponsored by Celebrate Recovery.
Starting at 7 p.m. and lasting until midnight, the party will include cornhole, euchre, kid’s games, and food. This will be a family-friendly atmosphere and all are invited for a night of fun to ring in 2018.
Bring a dish & a friend. No registration or RSVP required, just show up.
Redemption Christian Church is proud to be an official host church for the 2018 Night to Shine, sponsored by the Tim Tebow Foundation, on Feb. 9 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Redemption’s Jasper Campus. Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs, ages 14 and older. While this is a prom-night experience, formal attire is not required.
This is a night when all guests are kings and queens. Hair and makeup stations will be available for ladies on the afternoon of the event. The evening will start with a limousine ride that leads to the red carpet and a friendly welcome from the paparazzi. A catered meal will be provided. Following the meal, there will be karaoke, a photo booth, and, of course, a dance floor. We will have more details for the guests as the date approaches.
To register a participant, please download and print THIS FORM and follow the instructions.

Most churches advocate life and discourage women from getting abortions, but once a brave and courageous girl chooses life, often the church steps away and has nothing to offer her for support at that point. She is then left with nine months of being scared, worried, and feeling alone. This is where the Body of Christ can minister.
Beginning Jan. 9 at 6:30 p.m., and continuing for 12 weeks, Redemption’s Jasper Campus will host the care group Embrace Grace. For more information call Lynette at 812-639-1471 or register below. Learn more about Embrace Grace HERE.
