Community Groups (All Campuses)
Community Groups are the heart of Redemption. These groups are the way to avoid getting “lost in the crowd.” They are the place to know others and be known by others. Community Groups are small groups of six to twelve people. Most meet in homes, some meet at the church building, and some meet elsewhere. All Community Groups meet with the goal of being a place where lives are changed.

Why We Believe (Jasper Campus)
The eight-week class (with a break on Easter Sunday, April 16), Why We Believe, is slated to begin at 9 a.m. on Sunday, March 19 upstairs at Redemption’s Jasper Campus.
Christians need to be able to answer some basic questions and correct misconceptions often presented by skeptics, atheists, and others. We simply need to have a defense for the basic doctrines of the Christian faith. This class will be an overview of essential apologetics every Christian should be able to explain.

2017 Short-Term Mission Trips
March 25 to April 1
NorthPointe Christian Church is a six-year-old church plant of Restoration House Ministries in Rhode Island. The northeast is the least-churched region in the United States. On any given Sunday, less than four percent of the population will attend church. Redemption is a supporter of NorthPointe and has a long relationship with their lead minister, Shawn Green. While the church is currently meeting in a theatre, they have purchased a building in Cumberland, RI, and are going to be doing a 100 percent build-out. Does this sound familiar? On this trip, we will be assisting with renovation of the new location and helping with other outreach activities to promote NorthPoint and opening of the new location on Easter Sunday. The group will also take a day trip to visit Boston, MA. This trip is open to individuals and families. Children 15 and younger will need to be accompanied by a parent.
Trip registration is closed.
Sept. 29 to Oct. 6
Dan and Robin Been served in Mozambique for nine and a half years before beginning a new church plant ministry in Alcabideche, Portugal, a suburb of Lisbon. With Portuguese being the national language in Mozambique, the transition to the Pioneer Church Planting Network of Portugal was a great fit. Dan and Robin are building relationships by being involved in community groups, making new friends, and connecting with teachers and parents in the local schools. On this mission trip we will be prayer-walking through the local communities, meeting with the local ministry leadership, and just being there to support Dan and Robin. We are very excited about this opportunity. This trip is open to individuals 21 and older.
Deadline to sign up: July 2
Limit: Eight participants
Dates: Sept. 29 to Oct. 6
Cost: $1200 to $1800 (Airfare will determine final cost. Includes airfare, ground transportation, lodging with host family, and meals.
