Summer Camps: Set For Adventure

2015-02-01-SummerCamps1Experience a life-changing adventure this summer. If you have a student currently in third to twelfth grade, we hope you will send your child for a week of fun, friends, and experiencing God at one of our summer camps.

Our Junior Camp (current third- and fourth-grade students) will head to Camp Illiana May 31 to June 4.

Junior High Camp (current fifth- to seventh-grade students) will also head to Camp Illiana from June 15 to 20.

Both camps at Camp Illiana feature activities, including kayaking, hiking, a giant swing, high ropes course, a climbing wall, a 700-foot zip-line, field games, and much more.

Finally, our CIY MOVE trip (current eighth- to twelfth-grade students) will head to Holland, Michigan at Hope College from June 29 to July 4. This high school-only event includes premier speakers, incredible worship leaders, small group time, free time, and a trip to the beach.

These dates are coming sooner than you think. Get more information, including cost, and register your kids for any of these camps on Sunday at the Registration Center.

Foundational Classes Coming Soon

The first offering in CCJ Discipleship’s Foundational Classes series is We Believe, slated to begin at 9 a.m. on Sunday, February 8 in Room 203, upstairs at CCJ. Christians have some vital questions that need answers based on the scripture.

Who is God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit?

What does baptism mean?

Why do we take communion and what does it show us?

These questions and more are essential doctrines every Christian should understand. Future Foundational Classes will include Why We Believe, What We Do: Reading The Bible For All It’s Worth, and What We Do: Understanding Prayer For All It’s Worth.

Register for We Believe HERE or at the Registration Center.
